These botehs are inspired by scientific research into making synthetic cells. If the boteh is a kind of cultural cell with a wall, nucleus, cytoplasm and nano-machinery then these botehs have been memetically re-engineered at a nano-level in order to arrive at a new version of the Paisley Pattern motif.
