Ward 86 Paintings
After meeting Prof Monica Gandhi and the team at Ward 86 (one of the first clinics in the world devoted to treating people living with HIV) I began working on a series of eighteen paintings for them. They employ grounds taken from one of my sketchbooks, digitally printed on cotton, and painted upon. They are dark tales of the city; non-linear stories told through stacked juxtapositions of images.
